Michael Williams, D.M.D., is a graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, the top dental school in the nation. Upon graduation, Dr. Williams received the prestigious “American Academy of Periodontology Award for Excellence in Periodontology.” He was one of only 64 students nationally to receive this special recognition.
He then went on to complete a 3-year residency at the University of Connecticut graduate school, with primary focus in advanced dental implant and grafting procedures. In 2003, he received his certification as a specialist in Periodontology. Continuing his education, he became a board certified Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology in December of 2004. This is the highest recognition offered in periodontics.
